Through sharing my experience I hope to convince others, entrepreneurs in particular, that there is a different approach. My mission is to persuade people of the fact that sustainability is the key to a better, richer life that we can easily call 'paradise on earth'. We can shape a better world ourselves. That is what I dream about, speak about, write about, Twitter about, and why I am an entrepreneur.

Taco Neeb

I joined Tendris at the start in 2002 as co-founder of our ‘in-house R&D lab’ Tendris Solutions.

At Tendris Solutions we assist the other daughter companies in developing new products and start production of these products in manufacturing plants all over the world. We also do research together with our technical universities on front-end technologies, which will help the world transcend to a more sustainable one.

To me sustainability is much more than reducing greenhouse gasses, energy and raw material consumption. It also means food, drinkable water and health care for everyone on this planet. And, last but not least, finding the balance between human mankind and nature.

To work every day together with my team of scientists and engineers to make a contribution to the realization of the Tendris goals, is for me the best thing I have ever done, and hopefully will do for many years to come.

For almost three years I proudly work in a company where customer care and service are important. Every day our energetic team works together in pleasing our customers and create new business opportunities. Responsibility to our planet is very important to me. Therefore it really fits me that Innolumis Public Lighting develops and sells sustainable public lighting systems. Our LED lightening systems save even more than 50% energy!

Sustainable systems are good news for our planet and for our personal savings. That is why I like working as an office manager for Innolumis and help expanding and improve our LED lightening systems in more than 300 locations in the Netherlands. So even in my work I am able to enjoy and work for all the beauty that the earth provides us with!

In the summer of 2009 I joined Tendris Holding as a personal assistant.

Looking back, I have always had concern and attention for environmental change; no one wants to actively and consciously contribute to a worse world! Therefore I had already adopted waste separation at home and I thought twice about printing an e-mail. Tendris has made me experience what it feels like to be part of a broader community that is dedicated to improve the world we live in. It is an unstoppable movement! It's great to work here!

I joined Tendris five years ago. Since, sustainability has played an increasingly important role in my life. The passion and enthusiasm I experienced in my first conversations with the Tendris-people have made an unforgettable impression and has a contagious effect on me.

The people I met at Tendris are sincere, honest and share a common goal: making the world a better place! My fascination lies with our people and of course our products. In recent years I have had the pleasure to meet many people in the 'world of sustainability'. In my role at Tendris I try to build and maintain lasting relationships with the people in our network. And indeed, we see the irreversible consequences of climate change every day. We cannot longer ignore it so let’s start ourselves! That’s why I work for Tendris, my small step towards a better world!

I started at Lemnis Lighting in May 2010, we are a part of Tendris Holding. The enthusiastic interviews I’ve had with the people of Lemnis convinced me in the end to work at Lemnis. They informed me about the possibilities, the opportunities of Lemnis and the good cause Lemnis Lighting stands for in the world. Every day, I get to experience something new and have the feeling that I am doing good in the world!

Until then sustainability was just a fancy term to me, one that most organizations just misuse for marketing purposes. Now I’m convinced of the importance to take care of the environment, to be aware of the sustainable possibilities and what we all can do to make a difference.

Just recently I became a father of a beautiful boy. And I hope that he will grow up in a world where people are still able to enjoy the many treasures of planet earth.

That is what I work on at Lemnis.

I believe that you have to do things in life which you really enjoy. I also believe that there are some things that are fundamentally changing in our society. Therefore it is important for me to change the current status quo and do things differently.

Sustainability means to me that we can make the world around us a lot easier and especially more fun by introducing services and products in to the market that will give our lives pleasure, ease and fulfillment. And that we can achieve this without harming ourselves or the world around us. The New Motion arranges mobility that fits this.

At The New Motion we do this together with a team that is super driven, smart and enthusiastic! It is a pleasure to work with such motivated people around me every day! All these aspects make it that I have a great job!

I’m proud of working for a Tendris-company, so I can be part of a group enthusiastic people with the most unique and refreshing view on sustainability.

Working for RePay International empowers me to do my bit for climate change. I’m living my life more environmentally aware since I’ve learned more about the consequences of my personal behaviour for my carbon footprint and the environment. And last but not least, it makes me aware of the world’s need for sustainable solutions as our ClimaCount concept.

After 20 years working in the rapidly changing IT world for Utilities it is again very pleasant to work in passionate surroundings in which energy usage and environment are important topics.

Innolumis is a decisive company in which each individual has the possibility to make the difference. As a director business development I am working since April 2010 for the further professionalisation and expansion of Innolumis.

The Innolumis led light and its concept are really very unique, she brings us a step in the direction of energy neutral society.
